A Day of Prayer in Assisi
Mary Theresa and I decided to do a pilgrimage to Assisi today in preparation for
our upcoming week in Rome to share the ministries of women priests and our
inclusive communities. Like St. Francis and St. Clare, we prayed that women priests will rebuild the Church by following Jesus’ teachings and example of
compassion and inclusion at an open table in a Church for everyone.
