Today we celebrate the patron saint of women called to ordained ministry

 October 1 is the feast of St. Therese of Lisieux, patron saint  of women priests.

She shared her call to priestly ministry in these words: “I feel in me the vocation of PRIEST."

As we share the ministries of women priests at the Synodal celebration from Oct. 5-15th , we call on St. Therese to accompany us on our journey to the full equality of women in the Church.
