When we were in Rome, I met Bishop Raul, who attended all the Spirit Unbounded talks. After my presentation, I shared with him our mission of creating a Church where all are welcome and gave him a letter requesting a conversation with Pope Francis who has said that all voices must be heard at the Synod on Synodality.
We called on Pope Francis to “walk the talk” by meeting with us at this Synod on Synodality for a conversation about the diverse ways women priests are living radical hospitality and baptismal equality in sacramental and justice ministries.
Bishop Raul was affirming of our inclusive vision as one that was in tune with the vision of the Synod.

I also met a bishop and his staff from Africa. They smiled when I shared that women priests were in Rome to share our stories of Gospel hospitality. I am not sure they understood English.
